An educational apiary at Ste-Rita

Creation since April 2014 of an educational urban apiary in Sainte Rita.

There were three strong reasons for doing so:

First, the close link between bees and Saint Rita: in a few words!
Secondly, the importance of bees for our biodiversity, and the establishment of beehives by companies and private individuals in the Paris region. The R.U.L. is sensitive to this!
Finally, this is an educational apiary, offering students and guests the chance to experience an introductory session to beekeeping, or to take a more in-depth training course, or even to take up beekeeping more actively as a “hobby”!
