Parc de Sceaux

A peaceful, unique place!

A 12-minute walk along the Coulée Verte will take you to one of the most beautiful parks in the Paris region, with 181 hectares of formal gardens designed by Le Nôtre and accessible to all, complete with fountains and water features.
Water is an important element in the creation of the Parc de Sceaux: over 5 km of pipes and aqueducts feed the 13 basins, the canal, the waterfalls and the fountains.
Indeed, it was between 1675 and 1683 that Colbert commissioned the construction of the works required to bring water from the hill of Aulnay and the Colbert pond.
